Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead a client service team and act as the single point of accountability for plan sponsors and financial professionals. The role focuses on client satisfaction, retention, and strategic plan optimization across large retirement plans.

The position requires 5+ years in relationship management, licenses within specified timelines, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the responsibilities for this role.
• Proven strong relationship management skills, ability to build rapport quickly, and proactive management of plan goals.
• FINRA S6 & S63- required within 90 days of hire.
• Life & Health licenses - required within 120 days of hire.
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA and IRS rules and regulations and how they impact retirement plans.
• 4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
• Ability to travel to clients up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a strategic partner to our large market retirement plan clients (over $250 million).
• Develops and delivers robust business plans to retirement plan clients, capitalizing on your industry knowledge to provide thoughtful and proactive plan reviews, education strategies and guidance on plan design.
• Leads a robust and experienced internal service team.
• Coaches and mentors other relationship managers to aid in the development of the overall team.
• Uses organizational and leadership skills to navigate through successful issue resolution.
• Utilizes effective solution selling techniques to optimize new business opportunities, product enhancements, or areas that may improve profitability opportunities within existing relationships.
