Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or SDET.
• Hands-on design and maintenance of automated tests for API, service, and UI layers.
• Experience with Python and pytest for test automation.
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks and automation practices.
• Strong API testing experience.
• Ability to build test strategies for complex changes.
• Self-directed, proactive, good communicator, able to influence teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test environments management.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the team’s quality strategy across functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test coverage using established frameworks.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to identify risks and acceptance criteria.
• Test complex workflows spanning distributed services, APIs, and web apps.
• Investigate production issues and translate findings into regression coverage.
• Raise quality risks early and advocate pragmatic solutions.
• Improve test reliability, speed, and developer feedback loops.
