Job description

At Seemplicity, we are redefining the future of cybersecurity. AI is fundamentally shifting the defender's challenge from detection speed to remediation speed - and we are built for this new era. Our Agentic Exposure Action Platform fights AI with AI at the remediation layer, closing the gap between finding a security exposure and actually resolving it. By building autonomous AI Analysts that move beyond static rules to investigate, guide, and verify remediation across identity, cloud, and IT ecosystems, we help organizations turn overwhelming noise into autonomous, accountable action.

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer (data oriented) to join our QA team and work as part of R&D to ensure our products are the best they can be.

In this role you will own quality end to end: defining test strategy, building test plans, and leading quality assurance inside your Scrum team, while staying hands-on with our Python automation framework and using AI tools to multiply your coverage and speed. We look for an investigator by nature who wants to use their sharp analytical skills to identify issues, and the engineering skills to make sure they never come back.

Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you enjoy using your problem-solving skills to uncover even the sneakiest of bugs and then automating so they can never hide again? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

  • Own the quality of product areas end to end, test strategy, test plans, risk-based prioritization, and release readiness.
  • Lead quality assurance within a Scrum team and mentor developers in the art of quality.
  • Design and execute tests for new features, manually where exploration is needed, automated where it pays off and decide which is which.
  • Extend and maintain our test automation (Python, pytest, Playwright) and its integration into CI/CD pipelines
  • Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, edge-case discovery, automation authoring, and bug reporting.
  • Investigate escaped defects across the platform, UI, APIs, and data pipeline and drive root-cause analysis with the developers.
  • 5 years of experience in quality engineering, combining manual and automation work (preferably in cybersecurity) - MUST
  • Experience writing QA documents: test strategies, test plans, test cases, and bug reports (STP/STD) - MUST
  • 2 years of hands-on Python experience with pytest and with Playwright - MUST
  • Strong understanding of databases and SQL - MUST
  • Experience testing REST/GraphQL APIs and writing API clients.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI / LLM tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate test creation, edge-case discovery, and automation development
  • Experience leading quality assurance in an agile/Scrum team.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, etc.
Advantage:
  • Experience testing data-intensive platforms (large-scale pipelines, PostgreSQL/ClickHouse, big-data systems).
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
