Job summary

Sophos is seeking a Senior Incident Response Manager to lead the Advisory Services practice across IR management, team leads, responders, and readiness consultants. You will oversee consulting engagements, drive proactive capability building, and ensure high-quality service delivery for clients.

This remote role requires strong leadership across global teams, accountability for performance, and direct customer interaction to resolve blockers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IR consulting teams across multiple clients.
• Experience in incident response investigations and threat hunting.
• Ability to develop and implement delivery governance, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with client-facing reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IR consulting engagements and coordinate cross-team projects.
• Manage talent — hiring, training, performance, and capability development.
• Own the success and delivery of IR consulting engagements.
• Guide clients through investigation, containment, eradication, and remediation stages.
• Lead incident-readiness activities to prepare Sophos customers.
• Collaborate with executives and internal stakeholders to align delivery and sales.
