Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Senior Operations Manager, Quality Control to lead a five-person quality team and develop a scalable, risk-based QA program. Qualifications

• 6+ years in consumer lending operations, quality control, compliance testing, or operational risk within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience directly managing quality control, QA, or compliance testing teams in a regulated setting.
• Experience developing frontline quality control programs including call monitoring and agent evaluations.
• Experience designing sampling methods and standardized testing criteria.
• Experience managing quality findings and remediation within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality control professionals with clear performance expectations.
• Build and enhance the quality control program with risk-based testing plans and standardized criteria.
