The role emphasizes monitoring salability, model performance, and remediation planning, with broad interaction across banks, regulators, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services risk management, compliance, or related control functions.
• Experience with loan salability oversight, investor delivery, and bank partner audits.
• Experience tracking portfolio performance across origination channels.
• Experience in first-line model oversight and governance.
• Experience leading analysts and cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset quality and loan salability function across secured lending channels.
• Monitor portfolio salability risk and defect patterns to prevent repurchase risk.
• Track indicators like early payment defaults, delinquency, and loss severity.
• Evaluate origination quality, collateral documentation, and pricing consistency.
• Oversee production model monitoring, version control, and escalation.
• Translate findings into remediation plans and action with stakeholders.
