LighthouseAI is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives for our state licensing software. You will design scalable end-to-end automation, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality web and API products in an Agile setting.

You will integrate AI/LLM capabilities, optimize test coverage, and drive CI/CD test execution in a remote, US-friendly environment with standard business hours.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in software QA automation engineering.
• Proficient with Playwright (TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python); Selenium experience acceptable with modern testing architectures.
• Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (Claude or OpenAI APIs) and writing effective system prompts.
• Experience using Linear for agile issue tracking; Jira experience acceptable.
• CI/CD: integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Agile mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced Scrum environments.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (or Selenium).
• Incorporate Claude or other LLMs into the test suite for advanced capabilities like self-healing scripts and non-deterministic UI validation.
• Automate QA tasks via prompt engineering and LLM APIs to enhance test coverage.
• Track defects, manage regression suites, and drive sprint tasks within Linear.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to validate risk early in the lifecycle.
