Job summary

Litehouse is seeking a Quality Engineer to own automation across web, mobile, and APIs. You will write test code, expand existing checks, and ensure release quality from design through production.

The role emphasizes building reliable test harnesses, integrating with GitHub Actions, and using Datadog to drive regression coverage. Remote-first, national scope with strong emphasis on data integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality engineering or similar software role.
• Strong TS or Python with production-grade test code.
• Experience browser automation with Playwright/Cypress/Puppeteer/Selenium.
• SQL skills and data validation across systems.
• API testing and diagnosing failures across services; GraphQL a plus.
• CI/CD integration of automated tests; observability tools like Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Own QA across web, mobile, APIs, and integrations including exploratory and regression testing.
• Build and maintain reliable test automation and reusable infrastructure.
• Add quality gates to GitHub Actions for fast feedback.
• Investigate flaky tests and improve failure reporting.
• Validate data from ingestion through APIs with automated checks.
• Test multi-tenant isolation and role-based access; prevent data leaks.
• Ensure safe promotion across environments from dev to prod.
• Collaborate with engineers and product to make requirements testable.
• Use Datadog logs/traces/monitoring to guide coverage.
• Design test harnesses for AI agents like Claude Code and Cursor.
