Job summary

Taxwell is seeking a security engineering professional to lead Microsoft Purview initiatives across 365, Entra ID, and Azure. You will implement data protection, data-governance controls, and eDiscovery workflows for sensitive taxpayer information.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Security, Privacy, Legal, GRC, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical safeguards. A remote position is available for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

Five+ years of experience in security engineering, data security, governance, or related field.
Hands-on experience deploying and administering Microsoft Purview in an enterprise environment.
Experience with Purview Information Protection, sensitivity labels, DLP, Records Management, eDiscovery.
Strong understanding of data classification, governance, privacy, retention, encryption and access controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for Legal, Privacy and Compliance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead Purview projects from requirements gathering to deployment and production.
Configure and optimize Purview integrations with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Design and implement data-classification, sensitivity-labeling, encryption, and DLP policies.
Develop automated classifiers for sensitive information and regulated data.
Support eDiscovery workflows with Legal and Privacy teams.
