Job summary

Cortex is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to act as a hands-on technical consultant, owning customer engagements from kickoff through delivery and handover. Your focus is helping customers design, implement, and scale their Cortex setup through a consultative approach, translating complex systems into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles (Professional Services, Consulting, or similar).
• Hands-on integration of SaaS tools via APIs and ingestion pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab, cloud providers, observability, and incident management.
• Comfort with JSON and YAML; Python/SQL scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Cortex onboarding & implementation packages from kickoff through handover.
• Troubleshoot issues, investigate bugs, and raise product feedback during implementation.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers make informed design and implementation decisions.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cortex features and integrations across the engineering toolchain.
• Advise on data modeling within Cortex and communicate architecture diagrams for setups and pipelines.
• Guide customers on data ingestion automation, ownership, reporting and orchestration approaches.
