Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Team Leader to guide subsurface gas and electric utility infrastructure initiatives.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, timelines, budget, and client relations across complex projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate has a PE license, a bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental engineering (master’s preferred), 15+ years of progressive engineering and leadership experience, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience with technical leadership and client-facing project management.
• PE license required; experience with utility infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of gas engineering professionals, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Oversee staffing levels, resource allocation, and operational activities for successful project delivery.
• Mentor and develop staff and managers to maintain high-quality work and compliance.
• Directly manage subsurface gas and electric utility infrastructure projects from planning to closeout.
• Monitor project financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and project teams, sharing milestones and outcomes.
• Champion QA/QC, risk management, regulatory compliance, and project audits.
