Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Team Leader to guide the Gas Team in delivering subsurface gas and electric utility infrastructure projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget, while managing staffing and client relationships. The role offers remote work or onsite in Albany, NY; Syracuse, NY; Tampa, FL; or Norwell, MA, and requires a PE license with strong engineering fundamentals and QA/QC expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership and client interaction.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience managing utility infrastructure projects and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across gas infrastructure projects.
• Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and project delivery.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and managers.
• Direct project planning, proposals, execution, and closeout.
• Monitor financial performance and drive improvements.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and teams.
