Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium voltage power distribution projects from inception through completion. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance while coordinating across engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure quality deliverables.

The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• 3+ years of experience in the power distribution industry managing medium voltage portfolios.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project
• 1+ year of working with multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.
• Manage the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s).
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status.
• Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Proactive Risk identification and Mitigation.
• Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects.
• Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.
