Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has a great long-term, remote role for a Project Manager with energy planning and utilities experience. DURATION: 24 Months. START DATE: JANUARY 2027. 37.5 HOUR WORK WEEK. Please only W2 no third parties or C2C.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience and familiarity with energy-system models. Day-to-day tasks cover EIDP materials, monitoring NY energy planning, and managing contractor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience and excellent academics.
• Experience with capacity expansion, production cost, resource adequacy and power flow models.
• Subject matter expertise in energy system planning.
• Familiarity with electric and/or gas system models.
• Demonstrated project management, budgets and work plans.
• Strong time management, organization and policy writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop EIDP materials and briefings for client staff and advisory groups.
• Monitor energy planning processes within New York State.
• Stay current on energy planning developments at federal level and other states.
• Interface with advisory groups on EIDP recommendations.
• Provide PM and logistical support for EIDP development, schedules, agendas and deliverables.
• Manage external contractor teams, statements of work, contracts and budgeting.
