Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Energy Project Manager to expand our energy practice and guide projects from concept to completion in a dynamic consulting environment.

The role emphasizes seller-doer responsibilities: leading technical teams, developing client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities across solar PV, BESS, natural gas, wind, and transmission projects. Hybrid or remote work is available for this full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant energy project experience.
• Experience with energy facilities siting, permitting, and design.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and win work.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and technical leadership for complex energy projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, and performance.
• Lead permitting processes at federal, state and local levels.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates and multidisciplinary teams.
• Grow client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
