Job summary

Above Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary AE/MEP/FP projects in the United States. The PM will guide scope, schedule, and budget, mentor staff, and drive successful project outcomes across design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate has ABET-accredited engineering/architecture background, 10+ years’ PM experience, and PE or Architect licensure is preferred. Remote work is available with potential office/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture.
• 10+ years of project management experience in MEP/AE firms or related.
• Professional licensure: PE or Architect (AIA) preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for all projects and sub-consultants.
• Prepare Basis of Design and design criteria documents and other technical reports.
• Maintain clear communication between clients, contractors, and project managers.
• Perform quality control on drawings, specs, and narratives.
• Support business development through proposals and government fee efforts.
• Coordinate sub-consultants and contract approvals.
• Keep project records and VA standards documentation up to date.
• Ensure timely RFIs and submittals and respond to client needs.
• Mentor junior and senior staff to grow capabilities.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
