Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Senior Project Manager to spearhead critical projects for globally distributed teams, based in George, Western Cape. This fully remote position requires a proactive leader adept at managing complex initiatives with dispersed stakeholders and virtual teams.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, quality standards, and efficient use of resources across distributed groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in project management with strong remote leadership experience.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse, remote audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution and closure of multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Facilitate virtual team collaboration with clear communication and task management.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and issues with contingency plans.
• Report project status and metrics to senior management through virtual presentations.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, policies and QA standards.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation across distributed teams.
