Job summary

EcoFlow seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager, Virtual Power Plant, to lead cross-functional efforts delivering our VPP API Platform. You will own technical requirements, coordinate partner onboarding, and drive modern API/EMS migrations while ensuring reliability and security.

This full-time role blends hardware-aligned capabilities with software-driven grid services, overseeing telemetry, cybersecurity, and compliant operations across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, energy systems, or related field.
• 5+ years owning large cross-team technical initiatives with program management experience.
• Proficiency in backend technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with VPP/DER integration and grid software platforms.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical requirements and acceptance criteria for the Virtual Power Plant API Platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Drive partner onboarding and integration, coordinating requirements, documentation, and timelines for utility and aggregator partners.
• Transition legacy integrations to modern API/EMS platforms to ensure seamless migration.
• Develop and maintain backend services for the virtual power plant with high availability and publish/subscribe architecture.
• Lead cross-functional programs with Software, Firmware, Operations, and Customer Success to meet roadmaps.
• Establish processes for partner integration, activation, and operational excellence.
• Facilitate technical and business communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
