Job summary

QB Energy, LLC is seeking a Production Engineering Consultant (remote, US-wide) to connect well deliverability with the gas gathering network, supporting capital decisions for ~4,000 wells. The role builds integrated production models tying IPR/VLP behavior to line pressures and conducts large-scale sensitivities.

Responsibilities include nodal analysis, model calibration against field data, and documenting the workflow for internal transfer.

Qualifications

• BS in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering required.
• 10+ years in oil and gas production, with natural gas focus.
• Experience in coupling deliverability to large-scale models.
• Strong modeling, data calibration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build per-well and well-group deliverability vs line-pressure relationships.
• Couple deliverability curves to network models for realistic inflow.
• Run field-scale line-pressure sensitivities and quantify production impact.
• Develop a defensible well-grouping scheme for ~4,000 wells.
• Provide technical and economic input for gathering and compression investment decisions.
• Calibrate models against production and pressure data and document methods.
• Transfer workflow to internal team with clear training and handoff.
