Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, seeks a Mechanical/Process Project Engineer to support the design and execution of complex natural gas transmission, compression, storage, and processing facilities. The role involves preparing PFDs/P IDs, evaluating systems, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

The position is remote with occasional travel for fieldwork, and requires a bachelor's in engineering plus 4+ years in the pipeline sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, structural or civil engineering from accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to progress complex engineering designs.
• Assist in preparing proposals by estimating engineering hours and ensuring quality control systems are followed.
• Apply complex technical information to designs and understand design requirements in your area of expertise.
• Direct activities of engineers, drafters and designers on multi-discipline projects.
• Interact with clients and understand the role of business development in achieving goals.
