ELFI, a private student loan provider, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product strategy for private student loan products. You will lead customer discovery, define the roadmap, and coordinate with engineering to deliver a state-of-the-art loan origination experience for customers and the business.

This full-time role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, compliance awareness, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience leading customer-facing digital products.
• Experience in financial services and highly regulated industries preferred.
• Experience launching new products or improving existing customer experiences.
• Experience with fintech online lending and loan origination systems preferred.
• Familiarity with product analytics and modern product development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the customer discovery process, engaging directly with customers to understand problems, unmet needs, and opportunities in student lending.
• Own the product strategy for ELFI, ensuring investments align with company objectives and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, translating business strategy into actionable product initiatives.
• Prioritize product investments using customer evidence, business value, technical feasibility, and budgetary information.
• Define product success metrics and use analytics to evaluate performance and inform investments.
• Collaborate with Management, Legal, and Compliance on audits, reviews, and regulatory responses.
