Job summary

Alkami, a remote-first fintech platform provider in the U.S., is seeking a results-driven Sr Product Manager, Payments to lead a cross-functional Scrum team in designing, developing, and delivering key features for our digital Treasury Management products and solutions.

This role will oversee our commercial payments backlog and ensure alignment with the organization’s business objectives and broader roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, digital banking, or SaaS platforms.
• Proven experience managing software development lifecycles in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Treasury Management, Cash Management or financial services platforms.
• Experience with commercial payment products including ACH, wires and RTP.
• Familiarity with bulk payments is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and experience leading Agile teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Proficient in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence and ProductBoard.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate business requirements to engineering.
• Own and manage the product backlog and roadmap.
• Lead a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver releases.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer support for go-to-market.
• Present product updates and performance metrics to leadership.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure timely delivery of increments.
• Identify risks and mitigate delays.
