Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Manager, Product in the United States to define and advance the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Application Fulfillment across Life, Health, and Annuity within Insurance Operations. You will lead modernization efforts to simplify workflows, automate processes, and improve advisor and client experiences.

You will directly manage three product practitioners, coach teams, and collaborate with engineering, analytics, and operations to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of product management experience in financial services.
• Experience in life/health/annuities insurance products.
• Expertise in Agile product management and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate business strategy into prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and executive facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, vision, and roadmaps for Application Fulfillment across Life, Health, and Annuity.
• Directly manage three product practitioners and develop a high-performing team.
• Coach product practitioners in discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption and measurement.
• Prioritize across a complex portfolio balancing value, modernization, dependencies, and capacity.
• Lead evolution of intake, processing, underwriting coordination, and policy issuance capabilities.
• Establish and monitor product health metrics and business KPIs.
• Engage advisors, clients and internal users to validate hypotheses and inform strategy.
