Job summary

Thrivent is hiring a Manager, Product to lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Application Fulfillment across Life, Health, and Annuity. You’ll direct three practitioners, coach teams, and drive modernization of workflows and integrations to improve advisor and client experiences.

You will partner with engineering, design, analytics, and operations to deliver measurable outcomes, manage investments, and ensure successful product delivery in a complex insurance operations environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Agile product management and stakeholder management.
• Strong customer and user research skills across programs.
• Experience translating strategy into roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to coach practitioners and align business and tech stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across levels.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmaps for Application Fulfillment across lines of business.
• Directly manage three product practitioners and foster high-performance culture.
• Coach teams in discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and measurement.
• Lead prioritization and investments across complex portfolios and dependencies.
• Advance capabilities for intake, processing, underwriting coordination, and issuance.
• Establish product health metrics and KPIs to drive cycle-time improvements.
• Lead customer and user discovery with advisors, clients, and internal users.
• Build cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, analytics, and ops.
• Manage product investments with budgeting and business cases.
