Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support Federal Government Prime Contracts. This fully remote role within the United States focuses on sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

You will support complex procurement actions, follow established guidelines, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in procuring materials with emphasis on negotiation and supplier performance management.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurements and negotiation techniques.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates in a team environment and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Acts as liaison for Program Operations to align procurement activities.
• Implements procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyzes market trends to optimize acquisitions and cost savings.
• Participates in RFP/bid package preparation.
• Sources, negotiates, and purchases services, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitors supplier performance and conducts price analyses.
• Ensures proper documentation within CPSR and Costpoint workflows.
• Maintains detailed records of orders and deliveries.
• Responds to delinquent deliveries and coordinates with vendors.
