Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to support government contracts, manage procurements, and improve purchasing processes. The role involves RFQ activities, vendor setup and due diligence, price analysis, and close collaboration with program managers and finance.

The position supports remote/telework options and requires strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CPSR, and Costpoint, with hybrid work near the VA HQ preferred.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience across technology, hardware, or software for government contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CPSR.
• CONUS and OCONUS construction procurements for government contracts.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment near Lorton, VA HQ.

Responsibilities

• Interface with vendors, SBU, and subsidiary operations.
• Prepare RFQ activities.
• Perform price analysis and negotiate to fair prices.
• Set up new vendors including FCPA due diligence.
• Maintain vendor database with ratings and entity information.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain records.
• Negotiate terms of purchase orders and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and approvals.
• Provide procurement advice to Program Managers and related functions.
• Work with Program Controller to ensure payment in accordance with agreements.
• Research and resolve purchasing issues and disputes.
• Maintain procurement sites and buyer files.
• Other duties as assigned.
