Job summary

US Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to support the Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Acquisition Management. This role requires expertise across the full lifecycle of federal acquisitions, collaboration with COs, program officials, and stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality procurement actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 8+ years federal contracting experience.
• FAC-C III or DAWIA contracting certification or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and FAR parts.
• Experience supporting acquisitions from planning to closeout.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide cradle-to-grave federal acquisition support, from planning to closeout.
• Collaborate with COs, CORs, and program officials to plan and execute procurements.
• Develop acquisition strategies and evaluate procurement information.
• Prepare and enter contractual actions in PRISM.
• Analyze data and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Track procurement actions, invoices, and funding-related actions.
• Maintain acquisition workload and status using tracking tools.
• Identify risks and recommend alternative approaches.
