Job summary

RTX is seeking a remote procurement specialist to manage supplier relationships, drive MRP and financial performance, and deliver cost-reduction initiatives for RMD programs. You will lead negotiations on high-dollar POs, perform risk analyses, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS or other regulated industries such as pharma, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance.
• Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements.
• Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects.
• Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.
