Placements24 seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead optimization efforts and implement major efficiency improvements across diverse industrial applications. This fully remote role emphasizes autonomous work, data-driven decisions, and strategic impact in operations.

You will design, analyze, and implement large-scale projects, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with stakeholders remotely, and advance technologies to maintain a competitive edge in industrial operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience in process engineering, operational efficiency, or industrial management.
• Deep expertise in SPC, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and advanced simulation software.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing major process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional remote collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL) is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of large-scale process improvement projects using advanced analytics.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing systems, workflows, and logistics for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Use simulation modeling and statistics to predict performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders remotely to define scope, objectives, and KPIs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operations teams.
• Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to stay competitive.
