Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions.

You will lead programming activities, supervise junior programmers, ensure SAP and CDISC compliance, and collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project needs. This remote US-based role requires 5+ years SAS experience, 2+ years macro programming, and a master's degree; R and CDISC experience

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• Experience with R programming is highly preferred.
• Requires 2 years of macro programming experience.
• At least 3 years in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Experience with Phase 1-4 clinical trials.
• Deep knowledge of CDISC requirements.
• Understanding of Statistical Analysis Plan programming specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets (SDTM, ADaM) and outputs for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities, manage resources, timelines, and priorities for studies.
• Conduct quality control checks and peer code reviews on programming deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements.
• Oversee and manage programming activities, allocating resources and budgets.
• Mentor junior programmers on industry standards and best practices.
• Provide SAP programming specification interpretation and project documentation.
