Job summary

Chronosphere, a Palo Alto Networks company, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Infrastructure team. You’ll nurture engineers, own the roadmap, and balance priorities across cloud-native platforms, pipelines, and tooling to keep services reliable and scalable.

You’ll partner with leadership to drive hiring, culture, and process improvements while guiding day-to-day execution and long-term strategy in a fully remote role across geographies.

Qualifications

• Empathy and an understanding of how to empower and support engineers to do their best work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery and production support.
• Extensive experience with full developer toolchains in a modern SDLC including CI/CD, build automation and pipelines, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure supporting multi-tenant software as a service products.
• Strong background in partnering with recruiting, making hiring decisions and building a diverse and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for Developer Infrastructure and manage projects within that roadmap.
• Set priorities with Infrastructure leadership and drive day-to-day execution.
• Own the reliability of our Developer Infrastructure and ensure uptime and tooling needs are met.
• Partner with other engineering leaders to scale processes across teams.
• Maintain a healthy team culture with support from People team.
