Job summary

You will coordinate and submit proposals, interpret sponsor guidelines, and guide investigators through timelines and requirements. This remote role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with Eastern Time hours and opportunities for career growth within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 3–5 years of research administration preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage complex budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate research grant and contract proposals for sponsors.
• Develop and review budgets and budget justifications with investigators.
• Interpret sponsor guidelines and institutional policies for compliant submissions.
• Review proposals for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Advise investigators on timelines and sponsor expectations.
• Serve as subject matter expert on pre-award processes, policies, and systems.
• Facilitate electronic proposal submissions through sponsor systems.
• Provide training to faculty and staff on pre-award practices.
• Support highly complex, multi-investigator proposals.
• Achieve Institutional Signing Authority per requirements.
