Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a grants and contracts administrator to manage all phases of research grant administration for an assigned portfolio of departments. You will guide proposals, ensure sponsor and institutional guidelines, and support submission processes.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets, justifications and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements and institutional policies. Hybrid work arrangement at 149 Thirteenth Street Building 149.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 3–5 years of research grant administration experience.
• Ability to work with large financial data sets with accuracy.
• Proficient in spreadsheet, database, accounting and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Processes and prepares research grant proposals, awards and transactions, maintaining grant/contract records in compliance with guidelines.
• Prepares budgets, justifications, and financial reporting.
• Identifies and prevents projected overruns, analyzes cost sharing opportunities and proposes solutions.
• Ensures proposal compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; documents requirements.
