Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to turn policy analysis into practical, compliant guidance for an integrated eligibility platform.

You’ll work across product, design, and engineering to translate Medicaid policy into system behavior, notices, and case management. You will independently research federal and state requirements, prioritize policy work with the team, and synthesize analyses into concrete recommendations that improve service experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes/regulations
• Ability to translate policy analysis into decisions and actionable guidance
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams and external partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication in policy contexts
• Familiarity with public programs at multiple government levels
• Ability to document research processes and recommendations clearly

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences
• Identify regulatory constraints and risks; propose compliant, user-friendly solutions
• Create policy briefs, decision frameworks and process flows
• Support testing and validation of policy implementations
• Conduct landscape and cross-jurisdictional policy research
• Synthesize research into clear communications for diverse audiences
• Build relationships with external partners to share policy expertise
• Contribute to advocacy strategy development and execution
