Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior Project Controls professional to support planning and execution of large capital projects. You will develop integrated schedules, analyze variances, and enforce project controls standards across cost, schedule, and risk.

Onsite at client sites, you'll collaborate with engineers, EPC partners, and construction teams, promoting safe practices and delivering predictable project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4+ years of capital project scheduling on large process industry projects ($500M+).
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 to develop and analyze schedules.
• Experience in project controls across schedule, cost, progress, risk, and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work fast-paced projects.
• Ability to perform field walkdowns and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate project controls expertise on large capital projects, esp. utilities.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, plans, and WBS structures.
• Analyze schedule and cost variances and assess impacts on milestones.
• Perform schedule analytics for path, contractor trends, and compliance.
• Collaborate with client personnel, EPCs, OEMs, and contractors.
• Promote safe behavior and enforce project site rules.
• Apply Accenture PM Standards across cost, schedule, scope, and risk.
• Support Stage Gate reviews with cost, schedule, risk, and progress data.
• Review contractor invoices in coordination with PM and Accounting.
• Assist in project and portfolio analysis, optimization, and reporting.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for timely project visibility.
