Triwill Group is seeking a Senior or Staff Platform Software Engineer to boost productivity, reliability, and scalability of our AI-native advertising marketplace. You will build internal tooling and infrastructure while contributing to product engineering when priorities demand it.

This role favors engineers who multiply a team’s effectiveness and remain close to customer-facing software, with senior or staff level opportunities and ownership across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js proficiency.
• Active use of AI tools to accelerate development.
• Experience designing scalable systems and developer infra.
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or tooling.
• Strong distributed systems and API design understanding.
• Owner mindset from concept to production.
• Excellent cross-team collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering (≈80%): Improve developer productivity through tooling, automation, and workflows.
• Design and maintain scalable build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
• Improve health of the monorepo and shared libraries.
• Enhance local development workflows to reduce friction across the team.
• Build reusable infrastructure and internal tooling to accelerate product development.
• Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks across services.
• Partner with engineers to identify opportunities for platform improvements.
• Product Engineering (≈20%): Contribute production code to the AI-native marketplace.
• Design scalable APIs and distributed systems supporting humans and AI agents.
• Collaborate with product and design to ship customer-facing capabilities.
• Participate in architecture discussions around agent communication, auth, and marketplace infra.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and engineering patterns.
