Job summary

Benchmark Analytics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take full-stack ownership of product surfaces within their innovative platform. This role will focus on using AI-augmented software development to elevate performance and efficiency.

You will partner closely with a Product Owner and a peer engineer, emphasizing architectural quality, mentoring, and partnering in agile processes. A competitive salary range of $150k-$170k is offered along with a fully remote work option.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong production experience with Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Production experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Sound architectural judgment with ability to explain tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and quality of a defined product surface.
• Collaborate with Product Owner on project feasibility and tradeoffs.
• Build software using AI-augmented workflows.
• Make architectural decisions and document reasoning.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
