Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a senior data infrastructure engineer to build and operate the core platform data infrastructure powering analytics across the company.

You will deploy, configure, and administer critical tooling in production, including Airflow, Superset, and OpenMetadata, with a focus on reliability and security. You will lead data platform initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based services across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI to enable

Qualifications

• CJIS clearance eligibility (U.S. citizenship or Green Card)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience
• Advanced Python programming experience (5+ years)
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration
• Experience deploying and managing Apache Superset (or similar BI platforms)
• Cloud platforms across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI including IAM, networking, and managed services
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency
• Kubernetes and/or Docker in production
• DBT and OpenMetadata knowledge
• SQL and data modeling expertise
• Data security and compliance requirements
• Experience with AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling in production
• Manage data platform infrastructure using IaC (Terraform)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows
• Implement platform security, access controls, and compliance standards
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and OpenMetadata
• Write efficient Python for platform automation and data processing
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers
