Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Senior Performance Accountability Specialist to lead the most complex, high-risk accountability cases for under-performing salaried employees across regions. You will partner with Legal, HRBPs, managers, and regional leaders to deliver compliant outcomes, mentor specialists, and help refine standards and tools.

You will own end-to-end case management, advise on policy interpretations, and influence leadership through data-driven insights and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• 7+ years in HR, Employee Relations, Performance Management, or related experience managing formal performance cases.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of the most complex performance accountability cases.
• Advise on formal performance accountability standards and policy interpretation.
• Partner with Legal and regional SMEs on country-specific requirements.
• Lead complex manager consultations and decision points with clarity and consistency.
• Provide expert review of PFIs, letters, and case documentation for quality and objectivity.
• Mentor Performance Accountability Specialists on strategy and documentation.
