Job summary

The Zebra, headquartered in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to own the People strategy for the Agency Team. You will advise leaders, shape the People agenda, and manage high-impact HR initiatives in a high-touch, hands-on role with an hourly, commission-based workforce that operates 7 days a week.

You will partner with leadership, People Ops, and Legal as needed to drive organizational design, workforce planning, coaching, performance, and compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional HR experience with strategic partnership, ER, and generalist work.
• Experience working with hourly, call-center, and/or sales employees.
• Autonomy to influence leaders and managers; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Builder's instinct to identify gaps and improve quickly.
• Data-driven approach; comfortable analyzing data and documenting decisions.
• Knowledge of FMLA, EEO, ADA, and state/federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Own the People relationship for your client group; embedded with leaders and managers.
• Standardize hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development practices for frontline teams.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management with data insights.
• Manage sensitive employee relations matters; partner with Legal on escalated cases.
• Partner with workforce management on attendance policy and processes.
• Analyze workforce metrics and drive improvements across the client group.
• Design and lead training on performance, development, and well-being.
• Contribute to compensation actions for hourly roles and shift differentials.
• Shape job architecture, leveling, and market data frameworks.
• Lead change from diagnosis through adoption across processes.
• Provide senior voice on People team strategy.
