Job summary

AIP Publishing is seeking a Senior Peer Review Specialist to advance peer review and editorial workflows across our journal portfolio. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement improvements, document standards, and monitor performance metrics.

In this role, you’ll design and refine workflows, support operational initiatives, and help ensure research integrity and publishing best practices. Remote-friendly with periodic in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years in scholarly publishing and peer review.
• Experience with manuscript tracking systems or editorial platforms.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, document, and continuously improve peer review workflows across the journal portfolio.
• Document workflows, procedures, and operational standards; monitor vendor-supported editorial operations.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and lead operational improvement projects; track performance metrics.
