Job summary

Cactus Communications is seeking experienced researchers and journal editors to collaborate on a freelance basis as Journal Selection and Pre Submission Peer Reviewers. You will provide expert peer-review comments, highlight improvements, and prepare detailed assessment reports to guide manuscript readiness for publication.

The role offers flexible telecommuting, with deadlines that must be met. You will have the freedom to take on additional work with CACTUS and access to industry insights on

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor (Mandatory).
• At least 10 published manuscripts as an author or co-author (Mandatory).
• A PhD or MD in one of the listed areas (Mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert input in peer-review-style comments on manuscripts.
• Highlight areas for improvement and evaluate manuscript readiness for publication.
• Prepare a detailed assessment report with evaluation and recommendations.
• Ensure all deliverables are submitted within client deadlines.
