AIP Publishing is seeking a Manager of Peer Review Excellence to lead editorial workflow design, governance, and continuous improvement across our journal portfolio. You will partner with teams to ensure editorial quality, research integrity, and publishing best practices.

The role emphasizes operational analytics, vendor relationships, and strategic process transformation to modernize editorial infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workflow automation and editorial operations.
• Ability to design and optimize peer review processes across journals.
• Strong data-driven approach to improve performance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of peer review workflows across the journal portfolio.
• Oversee vendor-supported editorial operations, onboarding, SLAs, and performance reviews.
• Manage manuscript tracking system migrations, including training and change management.
• Drive workflow standardization, automation, and adoption of new editorial technologies.
• Develop dashboards to monitor performance, risks, and key metrics.
