Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, California is hiring a Board Design Engineer to lead PCB development from definition to production release. You will own electrical specifications, schematic design, parts selection, and layout considerations, with extensive lab bring-up and debugging.

Collaborate across manufacturing operations, test engineering, supply chain, ASIC, and related teams. Requires 5–10 years of board design experience and a PhD/MS/BS in EE.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of board design engineering experience.
• Experience with digital circuits, power delivery and high-speed signal integrity.
• Strong system-level understanding and production environment familiarity.
• Proficiency with lab/test scripting (e.g., Python).

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB design from definition to implementation, bring-up and production release.
• Own electrical specifications, schematic design, component selection and layout decisions.
• Perform extensive lab bring-up and debugging with automated benchtop setups.
• Collaborate with manufacturing operations, test engineering, supply chain, ASIC, mechanical, and other teams.
