Job summary

CTG is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a remote, 12-month contract in the United States. The role involves end-to-end biweekly payroll processing, including time, leave, and benefits adjustments, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.

You will resolve complex payroll issues in collaboration with HR Service teams, manage off-cycle payments, and ensure proper handling of garnishments, stock transactions, and tax considerations.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely, including pay, time, leave, and time-off transactions.
• Review and adjust terminated employees’ final pay including accrued time off and severance.
• Independently resolve payroll cases in partnership with HR Service teams.
• Process off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, and corrections for payroll overpayments.
• Verify leave-of-absence dates and related payroll transactions.
• Coordinate garnishments with third-party providers.
