Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to manage full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for a large workforce across multiple states. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance while handling confidential information.

This is a 100% remote role requiring strong ADP Workforce Now proficiency, Excel skills, and prior experience with 3,000+ employees. Collaboration with HR and Finance is essential for issue resolution and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience including California
• End-to-end payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and tax regulations

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll from start to finish
• Audit timekeeping records and payroll data
• Manage employee pay changes, deductions, garnishments, and tax updates
• Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Support payroll audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
• Deliver outstanding support to employees while maintaining confidentiality
