Job summary

The Bolton Group is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong payroll experience in Dallas, TX. This role blends payroll accounting with general ledger responsibilities and provides visibility to senior leadership.

The position requires 3–5+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business, and solid Excel skills. ERP experience (UKG/UltiPro) is a plus; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong payroll background (corporate payroll accounting).
• Experience in mid-to-large-sized organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (UKG/UltiPro a plus).
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Manage accruals and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support audits and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Assist with process improvements and ad-hoc projects.
• Over time, primarily during month-end and year-end close cycles.
