Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience with payroll accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll-related accounting activities during monthly and quarterly closes.
• Record payroll journal entries including wages, taxes, benefits, bonuses.
• Reconcile payroll GL accounts and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Prepare reconciliations for payroll and related balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with intercompany payroll allocations and reporting.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify process improvements for payroll accounting controls.
