Job summary

Parallon is seeking a Patient Account Collections Specialist to perform outbound calls and manage patient receivables from a home-based setup within an HCA Healthcare market area. You will maintain patient accounts, secure payments, and uphold service standards while interacting with patients and guarantors in a professional manner.

The role emphasizes high-volume phone work, adherence to attendance guidelines, and collaboration with colleagues to meet quality and production targets.

Qualifications

• Call center experience preferred.
• At least 1 year related experience preferred, ideally in healthcare.
• Experience with healthcare collections preferred.
• Bilingual is not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries; spend majority on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and elevate as appropriate.
• Update the patient account with actions taken on the account.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding balances.
• Maintain minimum production standards.
• Achieve passing quality review scores per unit requirements.
• Produce acceptable unit collection volumes.
• Follow attendance guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and management professionally.
