Kin is hiring a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into systems that work as intended. You’ll own the requirements lifecycle across states and products, collaborating with Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, and Engineering to ensure accurate implementation.

You’ll build user stories, lead UAT, and drive launch readiness, contributing to Kin’s rapid growth and reliable policy delivery for homeowners.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of BA or similar role with 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Eng/Tech Product.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment, including UAT.

Responsabilidades

• Own the requirements lifecycle from discovery through implementation-ready handoff to Engineering and Tech Product.
• Translate business decisions on forms, endorsements, coverages, rating structures into clear requirements and specs.
• Partner with Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Tech Product, and Engineering to align decisions and deployment.
• Document current-state processes and define future-state workflows with traceability from decisions to implementation.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and compliance needs before development begins.
• Build user stories, data mappings, and acceptance criteria for accurate development and testing.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review to validate changes before release.
• Drive launch readiness with documentation, templates, and stakeholder communication.
